Hurricane Season 2004
Myrtle Beach is expecting an influx of “snowbirds” whose Florida plans for this

The official hurricane season for the Atlantic Basin (the Atlantic Ocean, the The S.C. Air National Guard shared a plane and some of its members to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Frances in Florida. Red Cross volunteers from the Grand Strand as well as other areas of South Carolina have been helping Florida families rebuild amidst the devastation of recent hurricanes. The help is part of an agreement in which states outside of a disaster share equipment and personnel with other states.
